A chronological progress of the work at Honor Roll Park.

November 2, 2007,
The sod for Honor Roll park has been delivered and laid.
Watering has begun of the recently laid sod to help it take hold.

November 1, 2007,
The plant beds behind the monument surrounding the flag poles have been completed.
Plants have been added as well as additional plants have been added in various beds.

The walkway lights leading to Main Street have been installed
The lights to illumanate the flags have been installed. The area has been back filled.

The walkway leading to Meridian Road has had a brick border installed

Mulch and plants have been added to the walkway leading to Main Street.
The site has been graded in preparation for future landscaping.

The forms for the sidewalk along Main Street around to Meridian Road have been constructed.
The four benches have been installed in between the granite service markers.

The concrete ring for the Fallen Soldier Sculpture has been poured and the forms removed.
The concrete slab for the paver brick wings has been poured and the formed removed.
The wrought iron panels have been re-installed after they were refinished.

The concrete has been poured around courtyard circle. The Granite Markers will be set on the five light gray areas and the benches will be placed in between along this ring.

The three parking spaces along Meridian Road have been marked off and the walk way to the monument has been striped.
The gravel bedding has been spread out and construction of the forms for the pouring the concrete around the courtyard area has been completed.

Construction of the bases for the Granite Markers and Fallen Soldier Sculpture has been completed.

First picture shows Larry Harris, Scott Pingel, Jamie Wilkinson, Tom Sedlacek, and Will Shashack at Monument site during the construction of the Fallen Soldier Sculpture base.

The wrought iron panels which supported the pillars and plaques have been removed for restoration. Last image shows John Farmer removing the old hardware that held the panels in place.

The Monument site has been marked-off with the form layouts.

The curb for the parking spaces has been completed.
The forms were set for the sidewalk and curbs along Meridian Road.

The aggregate base was spread out after dirt for the three parking spaces was excavated.

A storm drain was installed and the trench was dug for water drainage.

The monument site has been graded with the dirt that was delivered earlier this week.

The electrical meter was installed and underground electrical wires were ran from the pole to the meter base. The power pole/light pole for the flags was removed from the corner near the intersection.

The benches, sidewalks, and landscaping plants were removed. The conduit was connected to the meter box.

Electrical meter box was installed for supplying electrical needs for the flags, courtyard, and future events.

The Eagle and Orbs atop of the brick columns were re-finished.
May 23, 2007
The three new flag poles were installed behind the monument.
